Wow.. Six almost-full days of choir just flew past like that and we probably only achieved 30% of what we set out to do??
According to Miss Lim, Friday's session was the best.. We had the sound.. We had the feel.. It really wasn't too bad and she was actually happy! Haha..
Here's why I think we did well on Friday..
We got scolding from MR YONG on Thursady.. He doesn't flare up at all but this was the first time we saw him really angry with us and even scolding us.. So we knew we were dead? Lots of pressure accumulated from Mon till Thurs..
On Thurs evening, we were expecting a small exchange with the Taipei Male Chorus but it turned out to be a choir of younger brothers and sisters cos they were only 15/16 years old!! Of cos, that made us, or me, feel a little more relaxed?? But we had so much fun during the mingling session that I think it gave our choir members a chance to relieve themselves of all that stress..
A chance to just let go and scream and have fun.. Well-rested on Thursday night, good solid 45 mins warm-ups on Friday led to Miss Lim feeling happy.. And she finished in less than 2 hours..
Today's workshop with HCV sucked.. We totally sucked again.. Which sux too! Madness man.. the choir's mental strength is really not there.. i dun understand why leh.. i mean, shouldn't university students have a strong mentality then can tahan all the way till this level?? really dun understand..
I know of people who really want this to happen for us.. People who pray all day that we can pass the prelims and get into the finals.. I want it to happen too.. We only have two weeks left.. Please make the best of these two weeks.. Please..
