eventful week has passed.. practices all week long has finally paid off.. of cos, there are still performances coming up.. but the 2 most important ones went on smoothly and we got our due recognition.. =)let's see.. Mon and Tues practices.. Tuesday's practice was held at Tempest which i personally think was a pretty bad idea.. there was this thing abt eating in the shop and using the staff toilets... plus i'm darn sure we affected business cos doors were closed and pple probably thot there was a lesson of some sorts going on so didn't dare to come in.. think we gave the Swee Lee pple some form of entertainment tho.. saw a few of them grinning away.. heh! but on the other hand, yeah we all had fun in the shop..Wed was the only day off from choir we had.. so i slacked away at home.. or didn't i? i was still doing choir stuff.. like planning who brings what.. and where stuff were.. sending emails.. all done at my own leisurely time tho..so comes Thursday.. met at Nanyang Audi at like 1230pm for the Welcome Ceremony Rehearsal.. that lasted all the way till 430 and by then, i swear i was dead tired.. Reheasal didn't go the way i wanted it to at first but after 'communication' with my bosses, i think it improved.. heh! dinner was provided at Cafe Quad, gotta admit i was quite impressed with the food and ambience there.. good place to go to chill out.. but only when it isn't peak period lah.. =p Convo Dinner Performance was good! couldn't stop laughing while walking off 'stage' cos i was so happy we actually pulled it off at such short notice.. according to the emcees, many of the professors' jaws dropped cos they didn't know we were so good.. and President SR Nathan loved us so much that someone approached WL and gave us a name card, saying that if they needed performances in the Istana, they'll come to us.. AHHHH!!! now THAT'S what gets adrenaline pumping! =pFriday's performance for Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew was kinda nervewrecking.. Maybe cos it's MM Lee so all of us were really kinda nervous.. plus the air-con there was like switched up to full blast or something, we were all freezing cold! they got everyone to walk thru metal detectors, checked our bags.. blah blah.. u know the usual security checks.. oh ya! there was a dog we were ogling at.. haha! then the few gals started to crack jokes at how we were ogling at the dog instead of those guys who were holding the dog.. hence, the 连狗都不如 thingy.. haha! hmm.. MM Lee was kinda expressionless so i really don't know if he liked our performance or not.. but whatever it was, we can say the NTU Choir performed for MM Lee before! =)Friday didn't end there for me.. i went to my friend's house for our long awaited sleepover!! yay!!! it was soooo fun!!! haha! played board games till like 4 plus in the morning.. laughed till my stomach really ached alot! Mad Magazine is a damn hilarious game when u play with crazy pple.. but the one thing that really tickled my funny bone was the kitchen situation.. making drinks and everything.. haha! i think i was mad cos i kept linking words the gals used to ahem, dirty stuff.. hahaha!!! so funny... there was this one thing we laughed for a full 10mins or so but now i really can't rem what it was we laughed abt! aiyoh!!! but it was such a fun night!! next day, we had a nice walk to Hans for breakfast.. nice walk back.. watched DVD and pretty much stoned.. so fun! relaxing and totally just chilling out.. love that feeling! gals, we gotta do it again sometime! =)
